DocuSend is officially graduating from a service of Mail Technologies Inc to a corporation, DocuSend Inc!

DocuSend is becoming DocuSend Inc

DocuSend started as a cloud-based mailing product service within Mail Technologies Inc. The idea was simple: What if small and medium-sized businesses could also outsource their mail the same as big companies do, sending USPS mail securely and as easily as sending an email? What if we create a pay-as-you-go solution without any contracts or minimums?

Turns out that idea really resonated, and what began as a straightforward solution quickly proved that there was a real need in the market for a smarter, more flexible approach to business mail, one built specifically around the realities businesses face.

From a Helpful Tool to a Core Workflow

DocuSend started solving very practical problems. The goal was never to overengineer a platform, but to remove friction from a process that was consuming time, resources, and attention better spent elsewhere. In 2015, the DocuSend cloud-based platform was created. Users could just upload invoices and documents online without printing, envelope stuffing, buying postage, or stocking materials, and move on with their day. It gave them a convenient bridge between digital systems and physical mail that took at most a few minutes to use.

The interesting thing is that soon, the abilities the cloud-based mailroom provided became an alleviation not only for small to medium-sized businesses and organizations, but for big enterprises as well. Why? DocuSend streamlines processes, cuts costs, and improves accuracy for organizations of all sizes, no matter if they send a few, hundreds, or thousands of pieces of mail. It allows you to upload your PDFs whenever you need to, without waiting for end-of-month or other deadlines, and you get address verification, NCOA (National Change of Address) updates, reporting, and mail tracking at no extra charge. This flexibility allows organizations to scale without contracts or workflow disruptions – an approach our customers consistently value.

As more businesses started utilizing the service, something interesting happened. They didn’t just use it as one of their mail distribution options; they really relied on it. It became an irreplaceable daily workflow tool for thousands of users. Having their individual needs, they challenged it and gradually helped shape it into something more.

They asked:

  • “Can I track delivery?”
  • “Can I automate this?”
  • “Can I send internationally?”
  • “Can this be customized for us?”

And many more questions.

Step by step, feature by feature, real users were receiving real solutions. Somewhere along the way, DocuSend stopped being just a service inside a parent company. So here we are.

This Didn’t Happen Without You

Your trust pushed us to raise our standards, strengthen our infrastructure, and continuously improve how we serve you.

We want to say this clearly and genuinely: DocuSend wouldn’t exist as it does today without our users, their uploads, and their suggestions – every business that trusted us with something important.

What Changes and What Doesn’t

Rest assured that the experience you’re familiar with will remain consistent.

What’s not changing:

  • The features you rely on
  • The service you’re used to
  • Efficiency, security, and precision behind every mailing

These foundations remain central to how DocuSend operates today and how it will continue to operate as DocuSend Inc.

What is changing:

  • Starting in early 2026, DocuSend will graduate from a service to a corporation.
  • You will notice a logo update too. These changes reflect our growth and maturity – not a departure from what you know, but a refinement of who we are and where we’re going.

Improving Brand Recognition Across Digital Platforms

DocuSend Inc will roll out a refreshed logo across our website, portal, and customer communications over the coming weeks. The update will happen gradually. It will start with our website and DocuSend portal, followed by customer communications, documentation, and production and marketing materials.

During this transition, you may notice both versions of the logo in use, but this will be temporary. We hope that the upcoming update helps ensure that DocuSend is represented clearly and consistently across search results, online business listings, and digital platforms.

Looking Forward

We’re excited about what we’ll build next. Our focus remains the same as it has always been: giving you more flexibility. DocuSend sits at the intersection of digital efficiency and physical reliability, helping businesses communicate securely while adapting to a rapidly changing landscape.
